Bring the tradition of the lawh into your classroom.
Reusable, dry-erase Quran workbooks that help students strengthen hifdh, refine tajweed, and build Arabic handwriting by studying the Quran through writing.
Tradition meets today.
“Write it. Erase it. Write it again.”
A centuries-old method, made new for today’s students. Premium dry-erase pages wipe clean in an instant, so each ayah can be traced and rewritten as many times as a student needs. Built around authentic Madina Uthmani script, sourced directly from the King Fahd Complex in Saudi Arabia.
A serious tool for a serious mission.
Built for the realities of a classroom, grounded in the methodology of the scholars.
Reusable, not disposable.
One workbook replaces hundreds of printed worksheets. Students write, review, and erase, year after year. Lower your cost per student and reduce paper waste.
Tradition, confirmed by science.
For centuries, students wrote each ayah on a wooden lawh to fix it in memory. Modern research on the generation effect and writing-to-learn confirms what the scholars practised.
Hifdh and Arabic in one tool.
Tracing reinforces correct rasm, builds muscle memory for the Arabic script, and supports recall during review. One resource, two outcomes.
Built for classroom durability.
Coil-bound to lie flat, heavy-stock pages, smudge-resistant dry-erase coating. Designed for a busy weekend madrasah, not a single quiet study session.
One workbook, many programs.
From hifdh classes to homeschool co-ops, the Quran by Hand workbook adapts to the rhythm your students already follow.
There is no curriculum to swap out and no new methodology for teachers to learn. Students simply trace what they are memorising, erase it, and trace it again, fitting naturally into the daily sabaq, sabqi, and manzil routine already in place.
Hifdh class supplement
Pair tracing with daily sabaq, sabqi, and manzil to reinforce retention and reduce errors during review.
Arabic handwriting practice
Structured letter-formation and rasm reinforcement for early-year and adult learners alike.
Weekend madrasahs
A complete tool that travels home with the student or stays in the classroom, ready for the next week.
Homeschool co-ops
One durable resource serves mixed-age learners across multiple families, student to student.

What teachers and principals are saying.
“The scholars and memorizers of the Quran have always copied it down by hand — this workbook brings that traditional method back, while improving the students’ memorization and Arabic writing. They trace it, erase it, and trace it again, on the same page. I advise every Islamic school to get a set.”
Brother Granit BinakuVice Principal, IIT Academy“When I was a young student at Al-Azhar in the 1980s, we would always copy Quranic passages before memorizing them. The Qur’an by Hand project brings back fond memories, especially in an age dominated by screens and very little writing. Tracing the words of the Quran is a powerful way to strengthen memorization and retention. This project revives a time-tested method of learning that helps students slow down and build a deeper connection with Allah’s words.”
